Using the 'chat line' does not leave any trace on your computer 
 You do not have to register and therefore no software is down-loaded onto your computer. Your "Chat Name" will disappear from the panel when you "Refresh" the Chat page or you go to another page even before you logoff

Our online Chat service exists to give you private and anonymous access to our counsellors. You can have a 1 on 1 private chat with a counsellor at the following selected times:
Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday Evening  8-30 p.m. -10-30 p.m. (EST)
HOW TO LOG ON
IMPORTANT: Ensure you use a made-up name which cannot be recognised by other users. Do not use your real name or your known nickname. 
When the PARACHAT applet loads in the space below simply type your made-up name in the top box called "User Name" and press the button below called "Connect". If you connect during the above hours a Counsellor will respond. No other information is necessary to connect to the chat room.

'PARACHAT' VERSION 7.5 "PROFESSIONAL" INSTALLED
On Sunday 12th August, 2007 the "Advanced" version was replaced with the "Professional" version.
This version of Parachat is simpler to use and options on the top tool bar are less complicated.
Better control of selected sounds when Entering, Exiting or Typing in Text are now available.

HELP FILES
When you have entered Parachat, click "Help" and then "Chat Help". When the Help screen appears
select "Chat User Guide" and all the answers to your questions will be found there.
